Setting the Featured Post Category ID

The Featured Offer can appear on any layout you choose except the single post layouts. To make an offer (post) appear in this section, you first must:

1. Check the box “Display Featured Box”.
2. Create a category called “Featured.
3. Categorize a particular post as “Featured”.

To change the featured post, simply apply the right category ID in the options and your most recent post for that category will automatically show up!

Finding the Category ID

1. To find the Category ID, first go to the Manage Tab, then the Categories Tab.
2. Hover over the category you’d like to use, and notice the URL on the bottom bar of your web browser.
3. At the end of this URL, you’ll notice text similar to ID=4 (screenshot below).
   
4. Enter the ID number you just found into the Featured Category ID field.
5. Navigate to the bottom of the page, and press the “Save Settings” button.
